Our Story
Who We Are
ClubHawaii is privately owned and operated by a family of “kamaiiana”, long-time residents who adore spending their time and money vacationing and living life on each of the Hawaiian Islands. They believe their islands are the perfect place to unwind, reenergize, and rekindle family friendships; to experience beauty time and time again. Hawaii is their home and they strive, quite successfully, to promote enjoying their Perfect Days in Hawaii.
The founder, Sheila Rausch, has lived in Hawaii for close to thirty years, coming here after seeing the Don Ho Show’s feed of stunning aerial shots of the islands. She and her husband, Dr. John Rausch, love living in Hawaii  and have felt much aloha in raising their family in the beautiful community of Lanikai on Oahu. They particularly love visiting the neighbor islands, enjoying each island’s wonderful hotels and resorts, great eateries. They also love playing in Lanikai’s heavenly waters, watching great surfers and great sunsets.
Wendy Rausch, a long-time resident of Hawaii, is ClubHawaii’s resident tropical garden and all things beautiful expert. Wendy has been active in the visitor industry on the islands of Kauai and Oahu for the last twenty years and has received the Kauai Chamber of Commerce's Aloha Spirit Award for two times running.
Consultant Tom Williams, a resident of the Big Island, is ClubHawaii’s golf aficionado. He brings a unique flavor for all things excellent on the truly wonderful golf courses of Hawaii. Tom, and his wife Karen, also enjoy the wide variety of restaurants and resorts on the Big Island and frequent them as often as possible.
Ann Hunter, a new resident to the islands, helped ClubHawaii in its infancy, providing fun ideas and a fresh look for the need of visitors. We thank her for her help and inspiration.

Affiliates
ClubHawaii has chosen to affiliate, via this web site, with companies deemed to provide the highest quality products to its members. As a member based company, ClubHawaii will continue to evaluate and re-evaluate  current and future affiliate company relationships with the utmost care. Island Insiders
Island Insiders are residents of the State of Hawaii , who assert they have lived in the State of Hawaii for a period of five years or more and who have expressed an interest in providing their opinions to ClubHawaii on a regular basis. Island Insiders provide information on their Perfect Hawaii picks through multiple venues; via personal interviews, hard copy and online surveys. Island Insiders are also asked, on a time to time basis, to provide immediate feedback on specific locations for review. Island Insiders must be eighteen years of age or older.

Invitations
Island Insider
ClubHawaii invites island residents to become Island Insider survey panelists. Island Insiders must have resided in Hawaii for a period of five years and must be eighteen (18) years or older. Island Insiders will be asked to complete an updated survey every six months and to periodically enter updated information as the person sees fit. For example, if you go to a new restaurant that is just fantastic, you might want to enter this information on your “Perfect Hawaii” Survey. Or a hotel might have been renovated or have developed a new service that is just great. The surveys can be updated at any time!
 ClubHawaii Island Insiders will receive a free membership to ClubHawaii.net for the period of their participation as a survey panelist. Select Island Insiders will also be asked to periodically participate in onsite reviews.

ClubHawaii invites you to submit a short and long description of your company, special promotional information and up to ten JPEG photos for each of your locations i.e. hotel, hotel spa, hotel restaurant, etc. For more detailed information, please call us at 808-261-0964.
